A Night Down The Pub (with friends). Brudenell Social Club, Leeds, Thurs 9th March 2006

A one night art happening that blurs the boundaries between 'art exhibition' and booze fuelled social event , in the relaxed and unpretentious setting of the Brudenell Social Club. Black Dogs will oversee and contribute work to an evening of drink and chat made more interesting by the scattering of a number of works, installations, music and performances by artist-types responding to themes of 'work and play'.

Some sit on the art end of the scale (you may find objects on the bar or next to your table more suited to gallery spaces), but the atmosphere will still be one of the ordinary bar, complete with raffle, pub quiz, and house band...before line dancing lessons and huge games of twister turn the occasion into something more surreal...

Expect to be entertained, involved, inspired and pissed.
